This page provides a mechanism for getting a new password when you have forgotten the old one. A randomly generated password is sent to the email address registered for your Login ID.
Type your Login ID in the Login ID box.
Click on the
button.
A new password will be sent to the email address on file for you.
After using this new password to access the COINS website, immediately change this password in your User Profile. Click on the (Click here to modify your profile) link at the top right of any page.
Note that if your email address has changed and you didn't update it in your User Profile, this won't work. In that case, or if you do not correctly remember your Login ID, you will need to contact the COINS administrator by email (COINS@state.gov). Click on the Contact button on the navigation bar.
